Directions and Parking

The UMUC office is located in the Vincenza Army Education Center on Caserma Erderle in Building 305, room 208.

To find our location, please take the A5 and exit at the Vincenza Est exit. At the end of the exit you will come to a toll booth. After you pass through the toll booth, you will come to a traffic circle. Take the first exit in the traffic circle toward Caserma Erderle. Drive straight until you come to an intersecion that is a large traffic circle. Veer to the left and then veer immediately right and exit the traffic circle. Drive straight until you come to a bridge. Veer to the left and pass over a two-lane bridge onto "Via al de moro." Remain straight on "Via al de moro" until you come to a traffic circle at the end of the street. Take the third exit in the traffic circle, driving in the opposite direction on "Via al de moro." Caserma Erderle is located on the right side of the street. Once you are on post and passed through the inspection area, please take a left at the yield sign. You will pass a Burger King and come to "T" intersection, make a right turn at the "T" intersection. At the first left, make a left turn. Continue straight until the street ends and turn left. The Education Center is on the right side of the street and parking is available in front of Bldg 305 and along the street.

Computer Labs

The UMUC sponsored computer lab has eight computers available for student use. Each computer provides access to the Internet, as well as a word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation software. The computers are located in the education center in room 209. The computer lab is accessible from Mon-Fri, 0800-1700.

Testing Services

Placement tests for English and math courses and proctored exams for distance education courses are available through your local UMUC office. Please contact the field representative to schedule an appointment.

Additional Site Information

Caserma Erderle is located within the city limits of the Italian city Vincenza, providing access to numerous dining, lodging and entertainment options. Dining facilities on Caserma Erderle include: Taco Bell, Anthony's Pizza, Burger King, Italian Mesa cafetria, and Greek fast food in the bowling alley. There is no lodging available on base unless you are traveling on orders. Additional facilities on base include a movie theater, library, bowling alley, and fitness center.
