Directions and Parking

The UMUC office is located on NSA Gaeta in the administration building.

To find our location once on base, please park in the designated parking area and proceed to the administation building. The UMUC office is located on the first floor, to right of the stairwell.

Computer Labs

UMUC does not provide a computer lab at this location. However, a computer lab is available through the Family Service Center in the adminstration building. Please check with the Family Service Center staff for availability.

Testing Services

Placement tests for English and math courses and proctored exams for distance education courses are available through your local UMUC office. Please contact the field representative to schedule an appointment.

Additional Site Information

NSA Gaeta is located on teh Gulf of Gaeta, north of the Gulf of Naples, and is the home to the The U.S. Navy's 6th Fleet, flagshipthe, USS Mount Whitney. Located about 75 miles south of Rome and 50 miles north of Naples, Gaeta rests at the foot of Monte Orlanda and offers a history rich in antiquity.

NSA Gaeta installation is small and provides limited services, including an NEX Shopette, Subway, Bella Vista Snack Bar/Restaurant, Olde Mill Inn Restaurant, fitness facility, library, bowling alley, and DODS elementary school.
