
Moving Back to the U.S.? PCSing Any Time Soon?
To enable UMUC to provide you with continuous student services even when you are moving stateside to a new location, you need only take a moment to complete a short Relocation Request form prior to your departure (your records will be provided to the home campus within 3 working days of your request submission) and your records and the stateside staff will be ready to help you continue your education when you arrive. Whether overseas or stateside, UMUC is always there for you.
UMUC Europe, your present home division, will continue to provide you with all the services you need until you submit your relocation request. We will be happy to supply course selection advice, official evaluations/SOC Student Agreements, confirmations of enrollment status, VA certifications of enrollment, transcripts, grade information, etc., up until you indicate you will transfer to UMUC Stateside.
We will also, on the basis of your submitting the Relocation Request form, coordinate with UMUC Stateside, the home campus in Adelphi, Maryland, to see that your records are transferred stateside so that they can begin providing services without interruption the term you relocate stateside.
If you are currently pursuing an Associate of Arts degree and are not an active duty military member, please contact Student Services. We will ensure your degree information is conveyed to your new stateside advising staff for a smooth transition.
