Biography:
My name is Charmaine Griffith, I am 44 y/o and was born in Mt. Clemens MI., where I was raised and attended MT. Clemens High School. Due to family circumstances, I was forced to drop out of high school and make it on my own. Four years later I received my high school diploma. I worked at various jobs until, 1991 when I made the decision to go back to school. I received my diploma from Specs Howard School of Broadcast Arts. I began my radio career at a small station in Detroit, WQBH. There, I was the top of the hour news anchor, producer of two drive time talk shows and also assisted the General Manager. In 1995 I moved to California, where I met my husband in 1999. I began working for a communications company and while working full time and taking college courses, I experienced kidney failure. Determined to continue my independence, I began telecommuting from home to receive my dialysis treatment, keep working full time and continue to strive to reach my educational goal. I received a perfect match kidney transplant in 2003! In 2005 I moved to Germany with my husband and I am currently working part time at Community Bank, located on Patch Barracks in Vaihingen. Since moving here, I have been taking 3 classes per school term and anticipate completetion of my AA in management studies at the end of this year and my BA degree in Business Administration in May of 2008. I currently live in Stuttgart, Germany with Marson, my wonderful husband. We have 3 beautiful children, two beautiful grandchildren and a seven year old Great Dane named Belle.
