Biography:
 Tyler Blakeslee is from Little Rock, Arkansas and is married to his wife of four years, Hyechin. He joined the Air Force in 2003 with the intentions of sending his wife through the University of Maryland University College. After four years, Tyler's wish came true and his wife was awarded her bachelor's degree in Computer Information Science (CIS).
 Since his enlistment, Tyler has served in South Korea, Iraq, Afghanistan and Germany. During his Tours he had constantly emphasized the importance of education. He had several opportunities to share his experience with his class-mates and colleagues. He has learned that education is continuous development in life.
 Currently Tyler continues to pursue his degree in Information Systems Management and expects to receive his Bachelor's in May 2008, with intentions to pursue a Graduate's degree in Management Information Systems (MIS). Moreover, he plans to complete his enlistment in 2009 and work for the government overseas. It is his wish to become an instructor for a university abroad, much like UMUC.
